Fishing at Kashabowie River Resort
“We like our guests to enjoy a remote experience at a drive-in resort”
Some of the finest fishing in Northwestern Ontario is found on Shebandowan Lake. The lake is approximately 25 miles long, dotted with many islands and bays and features miles of picturesque shoreline. Northern, walleye, and smallmouth are abundant and there are several lakes available to portage to for lake trout, speckled trout and trophy northern.
Our resort is located at the mouth of the Kashabowie River which is one of four sanctuaries on the lake. Fishing is prohibited in these sanctuaries until June 1st each year because they are spawning grounds for walleye. After June 1st, it is not only possible, but extremely likely to catch walleye, one after the other, from the end of our docks.
